Today's discussion on Copy write law was very enlightening. I found that I had many misconceptions about “fair use”. After the quiz I found I was not alone in my misinformed state. The check list will help me to make more appropriate use of materials in the future. The second topic of discussion was internet safety. This was a very important with the clearly expanding access kids have to the internet. This class ended with clarification of how to theroughly evaluate web sites. This provided the class with the tools a teacher need to determin the educational value of digital sources.

Computer evolution?

Computers have come along way baby! but like the smokes i stole this quote from they might be causing unseen harm to our children. Computers are such an important tool for intellectual function and development but fail to develop appropriate socialization skills. While we are more connected than ever our children have little or no idea about how to function in an interactive environment. So in short i do believe computers have evolved and caused evolution in the human condition but i also believe social evolution need to make strides to balance the scales of humanity.
